Family Ministry Team

We exist to serve you and the families in your churches. That means we will listen to your needs and interests in order to design solutions and ministries in accordance with what God is doing with your people.

We can help in several ways. Ben Phillips, Family Ministry team leader, is available to come to your church as guest speaker, Sunday School teacher, or conduct retreats, seminars or conferences. He will consult with pastors, staff and lay leaders and equip your families and church leaders.

Our goal is to develop lay leaders who can serve in your churches to provide ongoing ministry to families, both inside and outside the church.

Our desired impact:

  • Encourage and equip more pastors and church staff to have healthy marriage and family relationships
  • Provide biblical marriage training skills to more church leaders and families
  • Equip more church leaders and families with biblical parenting skills
  • Strengthen more single ministries that challenge singles to become dynamic and dedicated servants of Christ and impact more lost singles for Christ
  • Assist more churches in involving more senior adults in a ministry to their families and to the younger generations in their churches
  • Involve more churches in discipling men through men's ministries

How to Develop a Plan for Nurturing the Faith of Your Kids at Home

family 1Nothing happens by accident around your house.  If the lawn has become a cow pasture, then someone must make time to mow.  If the dirty clothes have become Mt. Everest, then someone must do laundry.  If your son’s ball game begins at 6pm, then someone must drive him there by 5:30pm to warm up.

If your children are starving spiritually at home, then you will have to take some A.C.T.I.O.N.S. as a parent to feed them.  What A.C.T.I.O.N.S. will you take?  Here are some suggestions:
